What's happening and where?

From 4.30pm on Friday and 2.00pm and Saturday and Sunday, here is your quick guide to planning your afternoon or evening!

A Ballantyne Square

    Live music in a micropark setting.

B Potters Park

    Lights and lanterns. Main stage with cultural and musical performances all weekend.

    Children's sports and games.

C Mt Eden War Memorial Hall

    Stage performers, retail stalls, craft making and giftware.

D Carpark behind The Capitol (opposite Potters Park on Balmoral Rd)

    Food stalls and foodtrucks. Amusement rides.

E Balmoral Community Baptist Church

    Foodstalls, retail stalls, wall of lanterns.

University of Auckland Folk Music and Instruments

Musicians from Auckland University presenting a repertoire of jazz and modern songs (saxaphone, drum, flute and keyboard) and nostalgic Chinese tunes (tank drum, xiao flute, guitar, violin and ukelele) 
       
Eliette’s Music Academy         

Eliette's Music Academy is a playing placed music academy for ages 2 and up.  EMA is based in Grafton and Albany.  Students will be performaing a mix of original and cover songs
       
Roskill Chinese Group        

Group members will present a mix of Chinese favourites  through playing the musical instruments Guzheng, Er-hu, Saxophone and Flute.

Local, self-taught musician, singer and songwriter
       
Minette Tan        

Traditional Chinese performance artist and musician. Exquisite!
